) Philips expects to sell over 50 pct more LCD TVs this year, the report said. Qisda, formerly known as BenQ Corp, consigned the old name to its branded operations after they were spun off in September. The parent company now focuses on original design manufacturing (ODM) for clients, including the BenQ unit. The report said Philips has set a target of delivering 14-16 mln LCD TVs in 2008, up from nearly 9 mln in 2007, with the weighting of outsourced units raised to 70 pct from 60 pct.
