In fact, the world’s major LCD TV brands have been increasing orders for outsourced models, greatly benefiting their contract suppliers. TPV is expected to ship up to 8 million units in 2008, while Qisda, with big orders from Philips and LG, aims for LCD TV shipment of 2.5 million to 3 million units. China’s TCL expects to ship 4 million units this year.
